For anyone who will be building a sump in the future or need to add to theirs at any point this is a very cool idea for making baffles and partitions. If you are like me, you at some point after making sump orginally there are changes you want to make, move a baffle here, want more room there, etc. But when you silicon in your baffles and other dividers..your pretty much stuck like that. But check out this link, has a way of making baffles that you can move, remove or add at anytime.

thanks for the link... I'm in the middle of building my refugium now and one of my concerns was where to put my baffles.. i was just going to over-estimate and silicon my glass in, but this might be a better option

I already have my baffles cut to be 1/8th of an inch smaller not 1/4 as it says in the link but I'm going to give it a go see if it will work.

OK so I gave this a go, and to be honest I ran into a bit of a problem, so I got the weather stripping on my glass but when I'm trying to force them into place in the tank the stripping well stripes off, and I wasn't able to get it into place except when I put a piece of paper between one of the strips and the tank, problem then is I can't get the piece of paper out. So my question is, is KY jelly aquarium safe?
