is there such a thing as an electronic timers that will allow me to control on/off with an interval of 1 second...? the common ones at Home Depot will only allow controls at a minute intervals...

i want to use it on an Aqualifter to dose a 2 part additive... if there is such a thing, is the Aqualifter consistent enough to let me do this...?

another option is to get a Reefkeeper 2 but i am not sure if it would allow me to use the timers in such a way...

this is a semi-expensive solution i found at twopartsolution.com

http://www.twopartsolution.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=94&products_id=29

the flow is slow enough to be used with a minute timer, but i am not sure about the pump's reliability... so i'm asking for opinions or alternatives before i spend almost $200 for 2 of those...

the perfect solution is a Litermeter 3 but i can not afford one of those...

Why do you want/need one second intervals?

cause it will be easier and more accurate to control how much liquid is dosed...

Hmmmmmm, wonder why the link won't work. Marine Depot has the Aqua Lifter pump for $12 and is very reliable.

Just get a Litermeter 3 with an extra remote pump. A little pricey initially, but well worth it.
