RPS-1000 skimmer advice...?

i'm considering the RPS-1000 skimmer for my 30 gallon cube... aquamartonline.com's description says in parenthesis that it's Octopus, but when i checked Octopus' website, i could not find the same model...

is the RPS-1000 a good skimmer...?

nevermind, i just found the huge thread on it...

but one question still remains, is this skimmer noisy or quiet...? i know it is subjective and some people say it is quiet and others say it is loud... my tank is in the bedroom and the only sound i can hear from it is the 75gph water flow down the flexible drain tube, and the very slight hum of an Eheim return pump... would this skimmer make sounds louder that these...?
