I thought I did.. Took it all apart again last night, cleaned it all up. Put it back together and it started working fine. Hooked it back up to skimmer, turned it on and whamo! Everything worked great. Skimmate started flowing. I went upstairs came back down an hour or so later, nothing... Motor was damn hot too due to it not spinning and being plugged in for a while.. I'm calling it basically dead.

Hey Rob did you call sequence to see how much it would be to fix it? Maybe its even still covered under warranty. They seem to stand behind their products so maybe they will help.

Should be a silver sticker on the volute with the date code. Thats what they go by for warranty. They are pretty good about handling issues. Maybe not if the pump was modded?

I kept thinking hard about a sequence skimmer, but to be honest the dart hasn't impressed me at all as far as trouble free use goes. :) I was told all the other issues I had was with handling in shipping. I will say my newest one was packed better, seems more quiet, and isn't leaking YET....
