Another Silica Question

I've read and read one article after another about DSB and using silica sand. Living in California makes southdown sand not an option. Spending $200 for sand compared to $16 for silica is a major factor too.

In all the searches and articles I've read, I have yet to see what you Dr. Ron think about Silica Sand. If I get an OK from you, then this is the route I will go. I'd just like your professional opinion.

Well, you haven't done thorough searches in this forum, where this topic has been discussed in detail over the last couple of years.

Silica sand is fine, as long as the sediment particle size distribution is appropriate.
