salt stains

Hey all ,
Well I am going to finally get my tank up and running again , after 3 years of sitting empty . Its a 90gal all glass with corner overflow. I have one problem , I have salt stains on the inside of my glass ( i think thats what it is ) and I do not know how to remove it . I have tried razor blades and even muriatic acid , and nothing is working .

Does anybody nave any suggestions ?

have you tried vinegar? I know it waorks well at removing hard water deposits on cars....might work.

I tried vinegar and it did not seem to help much . Someone told me that oxi-clean might work . I may try it .

If it is just salt stains have you added water to the tank to see if they are even visable with water in the tank?
