Ok i have decided on my lights I THINK lol T-6 Retro Strip

These nice little Silver T-6 Retro Lights have multipule uses. They have clips on the ends to hang or may be set directly on a flat surface. Comes with a 9 ft power cord and switch. Choice of 12k or Blue Actinic Bulb. Except i am getting the 48 inch 54 watt and im getting 4 of them my question is this, in the 54 watt they have what is labeled a Pink Grow Bulb, Does anyone know what this is or how well it works?

I wouldn't use a pink grow bulb on a reef tank. It's probably intended for growing plants, and will look ugly and possibly encourage algae if it's used on a tank.

I have never heard of a pink grow bulb for a sw tank. I would have to say it's probably for plants.

Yes, the pink grow bulbs are for planted FW tanks. I've never seen them used for anything else.
