Hello everyone,
I just fried a JbJ 24 watt Actinic bulb...:mad: :mad: :mad:
I had an Ocean Sea life retro kits that came with a 20 eclipse when I originally purchased it. I have since installed 2 x 96 Quad Power compacts 50/50. I had decided to use the old ballast which had a 32 watt 50/50 and use it with a JbJ 24 watt Actinic bulb. I am pretty sure I connected the wires in the right sequence or so I thought.
Do you all think that the ballast was too strong for this 24 watt bulb...? Once I plugged it in poof..! Gone....
