I wanted a custom sump that would fit exactly to my stand. I asked for quotes from several different fabricators. I got prices ranging from $100 to $350, all for the same design.
Well I took a chance and went with Aqua-Crylic. They had almost the best price. The only company with a lower price had ****ed a guy off so bad he created a website detailing his shoddy sump.
Well Aqua-Crylic builds this sump and I receive it in 6 days after giving them my payment. The sump is the exact outside dimensions I asked for.
The seams are beautiful, no bubbles or voids. The acrylic is clear and scratch free. I have done some acrylic work myself, and there is no way I could build a sump this nice. Taking out the cost of materials and shipping I am amazed at the value here.
In summary I will never build another DIY sump. It just doesn't pay when you can get Aqua-Crylics to build you one much nicer for only a few dollars more.
