Does anyone know if this starfish is reef safe?? (Red Reef Starfish)

We'd need a species or at least a picture to have any hope of answering. Most true starfish tend to die fairly quickly in our tanks, though.

That's a pretty vague discription............if you are referring to the Linkia then yes it is reef safe. I would also suggest that the Linkia be placed in a larger tank than a thirty gallon. TinMan

You could go with a serpent star, much smaller and reef safe.

Stars are hard to keep alive for more than a couple years in tanks... just to let you know.
