Anyone use SLS T5's ?

I want to buy a SLS tek T5 8ea 54watts per light fixture for my 120g. I am concerned about the center cross brace on the top of the tank. Will there be a shadow? And do you think 8ea 54 watt T5's will be too much light for a mixed reef, would I be better off with the 6 light fixture ?? ALso tell me how you like for SLS tek T5's.

anyone ?? I really would like to know if a 6 bulb fixture would be comparable to an 8 bulb fixture. It is not going to be primarily sps but will have some sps.

6x54w is plenty. even the center brace on the glass tank won't really shadow as they are really bright. reefgeek is pretty competitive.
