what to do with new zoos

hey all,


just got my nano setup have added some mushrooms and am attempting to add some zoos. while acclimating the zoos i noticed that there is one aipstasia inbetween the zoa colony and there are also the tiny little white worms that come out of the rock and cause the zoos to close up.

so im wondering what to do with this lr and zoa colony can i break a little piece off and keep it or should i not add the zoos at all.

help what do i do?????????????

treat for the aiptasia in qt, then add two months after all symptoms are gone.

Aptasia can be killed by using a suringe to drip kalk paste into their "mouth". This kills them very quickly without little pieces breaking free to start an entire colony.

If there is one or two peppermint shrimps in your tank, this is OK. They can handle one aipstasia if it is not too big. Just do not feed for a day or two.

Bristle worms are usually considered harmless to zoanthids... But without a pic, hard to tell.

Careful in a nano with Kalc! Too much could kill evrything.
