Cheato

I was wondering if you could only put Cheato into a refuge or is there a way to put it into my sump, i have a seperated section with no pumps in it, do I need to find a container for it. Also will it really be beneficial for taking for some nitrate in the water?

Just drop it in the sump. Although you want to make sure that you do not allow it to run back into the tank (pieces) or they will grow in the tank. Also, you will need some type of light to make it grow.

Oh, its great for phosphate removal.
