I bought a frogspawn from Salty Critter last Thursday, and I have noticed that it hasn't been fully opening, I hadn't looked at it at night yet, and when I did tonight I noticed that it has what appears to be RTN, there is a white glob around the skeleton on some of the branches and it isn't expanding well. Should I remove it before it spreads to other corals? Does anyone have a treatment recommendation?
Thanks.

LPS corals don't rtn. do you have it high up in the tank, low, whats your lighting. We need a lot more info on your tank to help you out. How are your nitrates?

My Nitrates are low, the frogspawn is in the middle of my 90 gallon it has 2 x 150 watt MH, and 4 X 54 watt power compacts.
It has medium water flow.

Do you have other types of corals in the same family type such as hammers or torches? Is the white blob staying white or is it going brown on ya? Could be brown jelly infection if so.

are you sure the white blob isn't just the flesh of the frogspawn? I have a frogspawn that every head is white on the skeleton and i cant stop it from growing. It had 3 heads on it two yrs ago, I now have about 70. I found that they dont like a lot of flow right on them. My is under 3-250MH's w/4-T5's.
