Huge Male and Med. Female Bird Wrasse from Tonga

http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e151/triggerfish1976/DSC01900.jpg

Small True Red Haddoni Carpet Anemone (you don't see these to often).

I also added my first Magnifica Anemone a few weeks ago and it is doing extremely well so far. I have seen these in the wild overseas and always wanted one. I think they create the most visually appealing hosting scene of all anemones available in the trade.
Here is a vid and some pics of my Picasso male and WC Picasso female.

awesome... I don't think I've seen a red carpet in person... nice.

Used to have a bird wrasse in a large tank where I used to live, cool fish... thing was crazy.

I have always wanted Bird Wrasses and finally decided to take the chance. The big male and I stress BIG is by far the biggest fish in the tank but so far is just swims around and minds its own business.

I think im going to cry. That red carpet is amazing. Is that the one from Johns? I almost got it yesterday but I dont have the tank setup and ready for one. Your Picassos are very nice too.

Love both nem pics!!! The clowns seem so happy in their Magnifica. The red is not even worth mentioning - you KNOW how beautiful we all think it is (*drool*).

I think they are from Tonga.
I figured since I haven't added any risky fish in a while why not go with Bird Wrasses.:D
No Queen angel but hopefully something similar will be coming in the next month or so.;)

Hopefully as it gets a little meattier it will darken. I have my fingers crossed. I love it because it is smaller than most carpets that come in.

triggerfish1976 - couldn't handle me eyeing it-uh? Man, I wanted that red Haddoni Carpet anemone really bad but tank just isn't ready. I love that green bird wrasse, I'm glad it got a good home. He just wasn't right for my collection of fish but he seems right at home in your tank. Congratulations - we must have just missed each other. Your tank looks beautiful.

Thanks Carol. The anemone was the perfect aquarium size so I had to jump on it.
The Bird Wrasses are doing very well and have exceeded my expectations thus far regarding their compatibility to a social reef tank.

birdwrassie1976,

did't any one tell you birdies eat more that crosshatches ? j/k

i've seen so many conspiculatus angels on LA, your tank must be a breeding ground by now.

what color base ritteri did u find ?

I know but I missed having some risky fish in the tank and they are much cheaper than Crosshatches.

I know. I saw that 4" that they have right now and it looks pretty tempting but I am hoping for something even rarer so I am saving my pennies for it.

The Magnifica has a tan base with Purple tentacles w/ yellow tips.
