Hi all
Getting ready to try and figure out who to get my tank from, its going to be a 240-250 gallon that is 60" L X 36" W X 25 -28" T.
I wanted to see who you used and was the tank built to your specs. Thanks.

Have you decided on Glass or Acrylic?

That is in the standard sizes for glass cages down here in TN I know a lot of people don't like them because of different reason but I have seen a lot of them and not seen anything other then some messy silicone that we trimmed and they are built a little over what you have to have like extra bracing unless you tell him you don't want it. Tom the owner is really a nice guy after you meet him and understand where he comes from but he is not one you want to call and ask a bunch of questions on why he wont do some things Like external overflows.

If you want an acrylic tank, I do not think there is a better builder than James at envision Acrylics

I'm leaning towards glass, I have a local guy that would do the acrylic tank for me. I'm woried about it getting all scratched up. I can see my 5 year old running a car down the front of the tank. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the replies. I have a friend that bought an acrylic less then a year ago and is now buying a glass to replace it for that reason

Aquarium Obsessed! Just got mine in last week. They do beautiful work! Be preparded to wait at least 12 weeks (no matter what they promise you), but this is the only drawback and should be seen as a reflection of their stellar reputation.
