I have been looking around and I have just not been able to find the details I need. Does a sulfur de-nitrator use a recirculation pump?

If any one could post a schematic and explanation of how one of these work, I would be grateful. I would like to diy one since my high nitrates seem to be affecting my SPS success.

Thanks,

Yes it's a recirc design, it's exactly the same as a Ca reactor.

I made one, its basically a duplicate of the H&S one. Works great and was not that hard to make out of acrylic especially since they go in the sump, so no extensive pressure seals are required.

you seal them to keep air (oxygen) out not just to prevent water leaks.

Cool. I thought that was the case.

Time to start buiding.
