Just an update for all you MTRCers regarding the planning for our annual Frag Swap in January. I have been working to get a nationally known reef expert to come in for the swap and give a presentation or two. I am very pleased to announce that Dr. Ron Shimek will be coming to Nashville and will be presenting at our 4th annual Frag Swap!

Man, I sooooooo wanna get back into this! The big tank has been put on hold....sold most of the equipment from my 29g...gotta start all over, sort of....

Hopefully I'll be ready by the swap!

Ryan... there's a 500 for sale on the board :)

Wish I had 2K and a house where a tank that big wouldn't fill 3/4 of the living room.

Sorry for the :uzi:

Thanks! Yeah, I'm pretty excited about how things are unfolding for the swap. There is still a lot to do, but we have a great core team working on it. More will be posted as we move further along with the planning.

Gary left us a great legacy and some big shoes to fill!

I read so much of his stuff when I first got into reefing! I quoted him a lot also to people asking about deep sand beds. He is the reason I run one and I just like the look of sand. I am sure he will pull lots of people so we would need a big location.
