Help! New corals - do they need a fresh water dip?

I just got two ricordea polyps and a yellow gorgonian, should I dip them in fresh water?

I am out of RO water, can I use tap water? I have well water and it's not very bad quality, but I always use RO anyway...

i thought the chlorine in tap water kills corals and other living stuff

there's no chlorine in my well water, I live out in the sticks!!

But yeah, city water is especially bad.
