Anyone have success with having schools of both in a single tank?
I already have the lyretail school and want to add a male bartlett with some females.

thanks

i've had one of each in a tank, and the lyretail seems to be a little more dominant.

Bartletts are so awesome. Under the actinics, they seem to have a bluey fluorescent border around their bodies.

they do well together, i had lyre tails first , then added some bartletts(more aggressive imo) and later added a few dispar anthais and all is well, it seems like the more you have the better they do...right now im looking for some sunbirst anthias

This seems to be true. The more of them the better. not much in fighting. but sunburst,, eehh. not very social.

i've got 4 lyretail (1 male), 3 bartlett and 2 dispar. occasionally, there is a chase or "dive bomb" but overall they get along well.

As long as we're on anthias' topic, I don't think Gooli would mind too much.

You guys with anthias, do you have your tank covered or was I just blessed with olympic high jumpers?
