I would like to know how long and how much to stir it. Currently i have a mag 7 running three times a day for one minute. I just set it up so i have no idea if thats long enough. I dumped 5 lbs of kalkwasser in the 30 gallon reactor, hopefully that will last me untill spring!

i really cant answer your q? but wow!!!! if i was me.. i would mix it for 5 minutes a day and thats it.. as far i know.. people have to mix the kalk up many times a day is because they have a limited amount of saturated lime water in there reactor... in you case... you would have almost 30 gals worth of kalkwasser in one mix...

I'd set a maxijet 400 to come on and stir it about 1 minute every 4 hours.

thats a good point. I guess im not familer enough with the pros and cons of mixing more or less in a 24 hour period. The pump unfortuantly will mix it all up and will not leave a suspended clear liquid in the reactor, should i put a smaller pump in there? or should i install a stirrer? My concerns are a small pump might get bogged down and not keep all the lime stirred up. Im running a mag 7 in there.
