Welp, what kinda music do you listen to while you workout? when I lift, when i do cardio love most kinds of music, it gets my blood moving, when using "Protein & Creatine" you need a little more of a push, so i listen to hard rock.

I like some Korn, disturb, Static x, a little linkin park, Rob zombie, Guano APES!!!(Really gets me pumped), Rockie, trivium, sevendust, some ozzy, Soil - Halo; gets me pumped), NiN, Popa roach, hinder, 10 years, mudvayne... and a handfull or other, but thats about it.

If some of you would like to know some names of the songs I like, Ide be willing to post them up.

So lets see what you like! Post em up!

Pretty much the same as has been listed above, but that is only when I have a choice. I also like a lot of Marilyn Manson, Nirvana, Faith No More, and Killdozer.

Most of the time I'm stuck chilling out and listen to the mellow tunes on the radio. I find I keep my self pumped up through a healthy hatred of my weakness and lack of muscular development. I don't know how long I'll be able to use this method though. I'm actually starting to get into pretty decent level of shape after lifting weights off and on for the past 11 years...

If for some reason I lost my mind and decided to workout all the above would work for me. :)

I listen to Dance or Techno. Not music I listen to everyday, but I do cardio, and those beats keep me going. If I were to listen to the hard rock listed above I would be in such a bad mood. I don't know why, but the sound of Korn and the like drives me nuts. And, of course that is what my husband loves.

When we are together listening to music, we compromise on what we both like, Ozzy, Kid Rock, Pink Floyd, (mainstream for me).

Hubby tried to put together some songs for me to listen to while running but he completely missed the beat so I've just stuck to the audio of whatever's around me. It was really annoying to try flipping through crummy songs in the midst of run, better for me to listen to what's happening around me anyway.

I'm like catdoc...I prefer to listen to my surroundings when I exercise outside. When I exercise inside, it's usually in front of the tv. I need the distraction because I hate exercising

Myself, on the ice, I often use movie soundtracks---current is Pirates of the Caribbean. Before that, an eclectic mix of folk, Dean Martin, trucker ballads, and the track to Madagascar. ;) You want things with a beat. Nothing with a dirge for a theme...I'm working hard enough without having to carry the music with me.

a little while back when i pump, i would do a set then mix one song (trance, house, techno, hard house, trance, prog trance, goa) then back right quick to pump again... back and forth till i was dead beat....
