This is a question for anyone who has kept Allen's damsels. According to Scott Michael's pocket guide, they are fairly docile. After watching them in my quarantine tank, I am having second thoughts about adding them to my 60 gallon reef tank with two docile fish, a flasher wrasse and a fire fish. Has anyone kept them and, if so, what were your experiences with them.

I am particularly gun shy right now, since I just tore out most of the LR in my tank to remove an overly aggresive Fiji blue devil from the tank. This was after futilely attempting to trap the b#st*rd. I do not wish to repeat that nightmare.

ive got an allen's damsel in with a firefish, some Gobiosoma, jawfish, sailfin blenny, shrimp, etc. and its never caused a problem. not aggressive at all, will dig some though.

if i ever want to get it out, i'll have to tear apart the reef though.

i wouldnt worry about it harming any other fish, if its temperment is similar to the one i have though.
