This weekend I went to Atlantis with Norm and Art. Art and I both got a little Acro crab with some coral. Here is a picture of mine. Cool, little guy. Good thing I did not use intercepter on the coral yet.

I think I may have almost nuked the little dude. I actually was using interceptor laced water from that small 8g tank to dip them in with the lugols and tmpcc.

I hope mine pulls through, yikes =X

I got one of the white buggers that has little fans for arms that it sweeps the water for.. really cool guy, he's currently taken up residence in my candy cane coral, seems to love it!

the ones with the filter sweepers are Porcelains... I don't think acro filter feed do they... I thought they fed off the mucus or slime from the colors...

Thanks delsol, I knew the name of them but my mind has been drawing a complete blank for just about everything the past day or two! Hell I had to search for images of the coral just to remember what they were called!

They love phyto and such stuff... the white ones loves and I believe requires an anemone (usually) the burgandy with purple/violet lines don't need it and are more rock dwelling ones..

I had a whole bunch of the burgandy and had 3 of the white ones...

the acropora crabs may take a little mucus and stuff off the acro, but it readily eats formula 2 pellets that I feed them. My acros are never hurt by them either
