Here are some eye candies from Ray's Reef tank, it took me about 2 hour session to just cover almost every piece of colonies in his tank. Very inspirational indeed, may be he can chime in about his water condition and all that. But in terms of photo, they are shoot under 14000K DE Phenix with a D80 and a Nikkor 105mm Macro VR lens. No post processing was done on any of the pics.

Nice pics, but I still think LPS are prettier and more photogenic.
Will we see you Saturday?

I had a little help from this guy:

I really regret using the word "designer" in that "bring your LE corals thread", lol.

Is the last one the Blue zoa I gave you???

Actually no, same zoos though; tubs blues. The colony you gave me is doing quite well. You can have them back whenever you get back in the game Phong (hint, hint) ;)

The way thing grows in your tank, it will be a 10' colony when I come back

It's ok Ray, I rather like the term "Designer" over "Limited Edition" just sounds like it's a little more... special ... I mean just look at how many "Limited Edition" cars there are! Obviously not too limited :)

Nope, I originally purchased a few polyps from Viper_930. They grew out to a nice colony, then got decimated to what you see by a rogue crab. The polyps I got from you actually went into my wife's nano ;)

Ray any chances you might want to sell any frags of your Undata?

Kurplunk -
I would, but my frag is only about the size of a 1/2 dollar (macro shots can be deceiving). If you can't find a piece in the next couple months, pm me, and I'll probably be able to make a frag.

I'm quite a fan of Spencer's photography; he's come a long way in just a month. His fancy camera/lenses/photography abilities have very little on my $300 point-and-shoot abilities, but he's only mortal (/end sarcasm) ;)

Here are a couple more pictures he took while over (apologies if you're getting tired of the pics):

Nice corals and excellent photography! What macro lens was used?

Thanks for the kind words Ray, I am blushing.

You guys really have to see Ray's tank in person, everyone can take nice pictures with a bit of coaching (I owe that to Eric aka Ebn) and nice gears, but not everyone can achieve the same caliber as well as Ray's, his tank is really a top notch.

Hyacinth, how is going, it has been awhile since I was at your place, Nikkor 105mm vr was used to take the images.

I'm glad ray finally has some pics of how good his tank really is.

Thanks for the kind words everyone; my tank really isn't all that spectacular, however. You'll see how much great photography comes into play when I post a FTS with my point and shoot ;)

Come on Ray, is this the best you could manage?
I want to see some macro shots which I am sure can be done with a point and shoot. hehe.
