It is an "Aquafine Ultaviolet Disinfection Unit Model DW 5"
It was used on a retail freshwater display made by the MARS company.
It has a stainless steel treatment chamber not plastic.

I wouldn't use it without checking the manufacturer's recommendations. Many types of stainless steel will corrode in saltwater.

Thanks for the response.
I checked the manufacturer's recommendations and there is no mention of it being used for saltwater....but i thought that the Chamber Material: 316L SS was OK for saltwater.
Any help from anyone with an answer either way would be appreciated.
