Okay so. Second thread this day for me. haha. But this one may be more serious then may last.

So today I was looking at my royal gramma, and I noticed something on its mouth/face area. I took a closer look, and it looks like barbs or bristles of some sort!!! I take it that he had a scrap with a bristleworm. The royal gramma is still eating and swimming around like normal. Should I be concerned? If so, what can I do?

I wouldn't worry about it, I have a blenny that seems to always have sipnes around it's mouth. As long as your water quality is good the wounds should heal up fine.

wow~ I didn't know bristle worms would attack(?) fish. How large are your worms? I've seen quite a few crawling around in my tanks. Should I be worried?

I believe TikiDan's fish made it

No, I assume the royal gramma was curious and/or wanted a meal. Got a mouth of spines instead.

my fish was fine after a few days. the spines work their way out on their own.
