wondering what people's opinions are on it. I'm sick of my coralife skimmer... not doing that great of a job. I continued to use it after swtiching from a 30 gallon to a 100 gallon. and I run it with ozone.

I just ordered the NW octopus 200. but I'm seeing lots of people are doing the Enkamat mesh mod and opening up the venturi. So wanted to know if anyone did the same... pics please. and a review of how efficient it is.

And also wondering where I can get Enkamat

I have not done any of the mods yet on my octo 200. Not sure if you would need to with a 100 gallon tank. Heard the mods work very well though. Just be aware that the pump will raise your water temp about 4 degrees. I got a chiller for that reason and I am in SF.

o wow... four degrees? crazy. i have a window AC thing in the fish room. so that will come in handy at cooling things down...

still 4 degrees that crazy that it would emit that much heat... have you thought about switching pumps? or something that doens't release so much heat

but other than that... it works pretty well?
