Hi all
I'm about to start putting together my 1m X 0.8m X 0.7m reef (39" X 32" X 28" to you guys :D ) and am going to go for a 400w halide in a Lumenarc III reflector with either 4 or 6 39w T5s mounted level with the bottom of the reflector (depending on how many I can cram into the hood).
Now I know these reflectors are pretty popular over here and I was wondering if anybody who has one could tell me how far they reckon I should have it from the surface to get the best efficiency over a 32" square surface. I was going to go with 9" but want to make sure before I start to build my hood.
