I ordered a Milwaukee pH controller last week. When it arrived, the probe's storage solution had leaked out so it was dry. I calibrated the controller anyway using a 7.0 solution and 4.0 solution. My tank reading was at 8.3 after calibration. When I came home yesterday, the controller read 8.7. I don't think that's really the case. I tested using a test kit and it read about 8.3. Is it possible that my probe is damaged? Should I recalibrate of order a new probe?

I had a unit like that before, soak the probe on 100% solution of Vinager (distilled) for about 15min, then rinse w/distilled or RO water and recalibrate... I just revived a probe from a pm meter that I bought used and it needed a probe, so now it is like new! just keep this tip to your self. :smokin:

I received a dry probe from Premium Aquatics. I sent them some pics and they sent me a new one.

I recently bought a used tank with this probe. Where do you get the calibration fluid?
