I took some pictures last night of some of my coral that I have not taken much of before.

This one is a recent piece that I got cheap hoping it would regain some color. It is working on it. I think it was bleaching at the store and I was trying to be good to give it a home:

Here is a piece I have had for a while, nice green coloration with lavender colored tips:

Here is one I have not taken any pictures of before. Has awesome green polyps. Also the next one showing closeups of the green polyps:

This Millepora was yellow when I got it, look how brilliant of a green it has turned. I all of a sudden REALLY like it.

You got some nice pieces Mtndewman. Speaking of changing colors, I am turning green with envy right now. - R

Thanks everyone, the coral are all doing well. The one I am watching is the blue tipped one that was bleached when I got it. It has seemed to regain some brown color in the body since I have gotten it, so to me that is a good sign.

Mia ... that green one use to be a yellow color when I first got it. All I can say is that the lighting change into my tank caused the color change ... go figure ... but I am very happy with the results.

Nice stuff. :)

Those green flourescent polyps are cool. I'm new to sps keeping since I got my first set of MH, but because in part of this board am using the changing colors of the coral in keeping the animals healthy.

Despair,

The first one I bought as a colony, the second I grew out of a 3 branch frag ... the others were probably 1/2 the size or a bit larger when I got them.

Nice as usual Chuck! My green milli frag has kept its dark green color. Also one polyp survived on the purple stag that bleached. I took some pictures to document the recovery. All the other frags are doing great.
Thanks for sharing :)

Kevin

Kevin.

Glad to hear the frags are doing well for you. Keep me up to date on that purple piece ... I am curious to see if it makes it ...

Hey 'DewMan,

Are you one of those Everett Boeing engineers? I was just up in your neck of the woods in Aug. Next time I am up that way, it would be cool to meet some of the reefers from my old home town area (Everett - and greater vicinity). Send me an e-mail if that works you folks up there.

Also, I didn't really see an decent LFS that actually are local to Mukilteo. Did I miss one or do you have to drive all the way to Bellevue?

P.S. Nice pics, Mutagen

Mutagen: There isn't anything up north in Washington. Everything is South, Bellevue, Issaquah, Seattle.. and those are barely considered good overall IMO; but it is the only thing we've got.

That bright green milli is *amazing* .. nice photos!

Mutagen, yes I am as a matter of fact

Where are you located? Just shoot an email the next time you are in the area, I will be happy to show off my tank, I always like showing it to people who are interested.

There are no fish stores local here that I go to. I go to a few in the general Seattle area ...

Aquarium Concepts in North Seattle
Saltwater City in Bellevue
Below Sea Level in Seattle
Blue Sierra in Issaquah
