Limestone or Travertine tiles for frags

I got a 12x12 sheet at HD the other day of these 2x2 tiles. I soaked them for 4 days changing the water twice a day and scrubbed all the glue off from the mesh sheet that they were on. Has anyone used these for frags? Do you think they would be ok? Would the leach anything into the water?

I use them with no problems. They actually work very well because they do not blow around very easily.

I have a sheet of Turkish travetine tiles from HD they are about 1/2 in X 1/2 in. I've been using them for several months now with no problems. I have never washed them or cleaned the glue off the back, I just pull one off and glue a frag to it and stick it in the tank. The corals I've put on them are encrusting nicely. I esp. like the little pits in these tiles because it seems that the frag-super glue bond is better than with ceramic tiles I've used.
