In my sump I have bioballs in the first chamber, second chamber is my skimmer, third chamber is my return pump. If I wanted to do liverock and cheato how do I do this, do I just replace the bioballs with the rock and cheato? If I remove the bioballs will this knock my tank all out of whack?
Thanks,
Danny

That's what I did when I put the sump in intially. I ran my bioballs for about 3 months and just pulled it and replaced it with cycled LR and had no problems. I used more skeletons, etc., than rock, but had rock in trhe fuge section of the sump.
