I would suggest liveaquaria, especially their ORA line. This online vendor guarantees their product for 14days. The corals are mounted and fully encrusted which means they are much more stable than a fresh cut frag. They also ship nice size frags.

Check out DrMacandSons too as they are in Florida but I can't tell you much about them.

Both these suppliers are listed in the sponsor forums.

If your in ft lauderdale and looking for frags go to coral reef farm they have the best selection of ORA and TCN for half the price as online vendors and they will order you any frag you want.

messina06,

Our local club (FMAS) is hosting a frag swap/sale in a few weeks - Aug. 5. I'll be bringing a bunch of sps frags to trade/sell, and hope to come home with a bunch of new ones too. Prices are good and no shipping, either. :D

I think you're mixing them up with ORA. ORA is in FL, near Ft. Pierce, but they don't sell to the public, only to LFSs. Dr. Mac is somewhere up north.

You can get as many frags as you can afford at the swap but if you are inpatient here's your options locally:
Eco reef - on atlantic-tons of ORA and other
Coral Reef Farm
Reef life on wednesdays frags wild colonies at great prizes.

I just got a frag pack off ebay a little over two weeks ago. They had 9 frags for $99 which included shipping. There was a good assortment and all of them have good polyp extension and are coloring up nicely. I believe they were located somewhere in Florida.

Dr Mac is on the eastern shore of Maryland. Good stuff and good customer service!

I am always looking for good online vendors, let me know...

I would look at Liveaquaria.com or reefermadness.us reefermadness has 20 SPS frags for 199.00

I just did a walk through of the coral farm at Dr.Forster&Smith/ Liveaquaria and there all there corals including wild caught were very nice looking pieces. I was shocked with the size. I saw a few online listed for 1-2 that were more like 3-4" So you could not gbo wrong there. HTH Tim

I've ordered favorably from:

Reefready dot net (Matt's got some great stuff! And a beautiful baby girl - he wont sell so don't ask.)

ExoticFrags dot us (Jeremy is very customer service oriented - responded immediately to all emails! His frags were huge too.)

Eyecatchingcoral dot com (although his website needs work - check his ebay listings they are great! Some intense corals here.)

One of my favorite purchases was from Slojmn here on ReefCentral. She was so nice. And here frag pack was a bargain!

I would NOT do business with Reeffarmers dot com. I don't know who owns it but he is INCREDIBLY rude and inconsiderate! I will be posting a thread here about my horrible experiences soon. But I'll save it for another day.

Hope this helps!

For frags, I've had very good experiences with upscales.com and ultimatefrags.com.
