I wonder how effective this product works, I plan to try it to bring down my phosphate problem..anyone??

When I first filled my 75G tank... I used tap water. (at *that* point, I didnt even know I was supposed to use purified water. :eek: Wow, I was really bad.)

Anyway, found out that I started with P04 around 0.3-ish. 1/2 a jar of phosguard for 48 Hours cleared it up. Rather... took it below the test resolvability on a seatest kit, which only gows down to 0.2.

At the time, I only had some zooanthids in the tank. I cant tell you how a fully stocked reef might react.

If you want to use it (as a 1 time fix.. this isnt a solution for a chronic problem)... rinse it to remove dust... and put it in a canister filter underneath plenty of floss.. and even some carbon...what the heck. You want to keep any dust from it out of the tank.
