I normally wear all black on Bastille Day. Because of those peasants my family had to flee and leave everything behind. All I know so far is that they ended up in Ireland and changed their name to LaStrange (The Stranger). I think my Grandma might know who the family really was, but she won't say.

You know I completely forgot about Canada Day, I'm going to be at the Foster and Smith frag swap so I will miss the fireworks across the river. Which actually sucks because those fireworks are way better than ours on the 4th. :(

Ok, I guess I should have used smilies in my post. It does suck that I know my family was important and not being able to find out how important. I was trying to be sarcastic. I am a small history nerd, and so I know that the monarchy was stupid, and that even the second son should have been groomed from birth just in case. I don't really have any resentment at all, I think my Grandma might though.

Besides without the revolution I wouldn't be such a mutt. I'm French, Irish, Danish, Polish, Sweedish, and Bohemian. :)
