Well, I purchased a Ranco ETC 211000 to replace a malfunctioning temperature controller in my Via Aqua chiller. I went with the 2 stage so I could control the heaters with the same unit.
The actual Ranco is in the mail and should be here in a few days. I purchased the non-wired variety as I intend to run relays with the unit to prolong it's life. Thus, I needed to begin the wiring so that it's ready to go once the controller arrives.
Using a project box (Radio shack) that is about the size of a singe gang electrical box, 3 panel mount AC power recepticals (mouser.com), 2 DPDT relays (Radio Shack), and some wire, I wired up the "Relay Box." I will wire the controller such that stage 1 controls the chiller, stage 2 will control the heaters. I have also wired up the fans to the Normally Closed pole of the stage 2 circuit so that when the heaters turn on, the fans over the tank will turn off.

There are 2 cords comming from the relay box. One will cary 120V AC power. The other carries the signals to activate the relays:

I'll post the rest of the project once the Temp controller arrives along with the rewiring of the chiller control board.
