Hi all:
I'm new to ricordea -- what do you feed them? Cyclopseeze?

They are like any other mushroom. If the think they like it, they'll grab it. Just feed your tank as normal and don't worry about them.

turn off power heads , an target feed them with a turkey baster..

Mine like mysis shrimp. Just make sure you throw some at your shrimp or crabs first to keep them busy so your ricordia has tme to swallow!

I feed mine a mixture of cyclop-eeze and mysis that has been merinating in Selcon for at least 15 minutes. I feed the entire tank this mixture, but sometimes I'll target feed it to my rics with the powerheads turned off.

u dont need to feed them, lighting is the key. whatever the fish dont eat, they catch it and eat

Even though you don't need to feed them, I do just for the fun of watching them eat. Like kingfisher62, I first throw some pellets in on the opposite side of the tank for the crabs and shrimp to fight over and then turn off the pumps and use a turkey baster to dribble food right onto them. Then I stand over them with a stick ready to beat back the crabs that lost the fight for the pellets. They get whatever I feed my fish that day from the frozen variety pack.
