Anyone know were I can find a good price on a 36" 6 lamp one? THANKS!
PS anyone know how nice of a light this is? Does it run hot?

www.reefgeek.com has about the best pricing. They do not have active cooling. I would look at the ice cap variable speed fans to supplement the tek fixtures. Another option would to be to look at the aquactinics fixtures, they have great individual reflectors and active cooling. www.aquactinics.com

I run both a 4 bulb and 8 bulb Tek,they were both purchased from Reefgeek,I also run a fan on those setups, both have been running about 3 years with no problems.
The more bulbs you have the greater the heat will be,hope to upgrade to an Icecap later in the year..

do i need to get the acrylic shield? theres nothing guarding the bulbs from splash?
