Need quick answer please!

I have a mag drive im getting ready to setup (will be using an overflow box) exactly how do I have the water returning to the main aquarium? Do I just clamp the return hose into the display tank to just blast water randomly or should it be done a specific way? Thanks guys.

You can do that for a while, but what you'll need is some way to diffuse the flow. Give the SCWD (Switching Current Water Director) a look (http://www.3iqventures.com/buynow.html); it's not complicated, it's inexpensive and it doesn't require any power. You can plumb it in to your return line, and it'll bring some nice random current to your tank. You can always add a powerhead later if you're finding you have dead spots in the tank.
