Rowa Phos

I just bought some Rowa Phos and i don't have a reactor yet so i will be putting some in a media filter bag and putting it in a HOB filter. How much should i put in the bag??? Do i rinse it first before i put it in the filter??? Can i mix it with carbon in the bag???

What size tank do you have? I have a 24 and used phosban in the media bags, worked well, just make sure you let it get some good flow through it so it can doo it's job.

When wet and in the bag mine was a little bigger than a golf ball.

I wouldn't mix it with carbon, odds are you will have to replace the carbon before the rowa phos needs replacing.

No need to rinse it.

I have a 29GAL Ok i'm going to try a golfball size. Oh how often should i change it out???
