Feather Duster on Polyp

My little pink and white dwarf feather duster has decided to give me a baby, but that baby seems to have decided to grow up right on my neon green candy cane. I really want to see this little guy grow up, but I would rather it did not hurt my candy cane, which is growing nicely. Will it be okay where it is, or should I attempt to move it off the polyp.

its the other way around---the candy cane will zap the feather duster. Feather dusters are worms--you should be able to separate it shortly
