Changed bats in life guard temp gauge.

Before I changed the batteries the temp read 81.3 thats what i have tried to keep the tank at. Now with the new batteries its reading 78.3. Anyone ever have this problem. Should I buy a new temp gauge or is the new reading right. If so should I slowly raise my temp up.

you should have a glass thermometer on hand to check the accuracy of the digital.. they are always off...

i would imagine 78.3 is better... someone else will say im sure
