OMG.OMG.OMG

Not only is the Solaris far worst in comparison to MH, it also will eat your corals :-)

Tank underway.

Will report back in a few years

the only tank i have ever seen with those lights doesnt look very good. the water quality is good, but everything is bleached out really bad.

I have a Solaris over SPS & LPS (30"H tank) and they are all doing great. No bleaching, but I did have a couple of milli's turn brown, but now they have adjusted to the higher intensity and have their color back. I have had the Solaris about 3-4 months.

I'm looking forward to LEDs dominating our reefs in the future ;)

Seriously though, I can't wait to see how well corals grow under leds. IMHO this is exciting stuff.

I just got mine and I love it so far.

The fact that I can dim either the white or blue lights from 1 to 100% is amazing....you can basically fine tune the light going into the tank.

Also I have my light suspended over my tank...and with MH I would get alot of extra light going into the room....and I dont have that problem with this light.
