So A friend of mine recently installed a ~250 gallon custom tenecor acrylic cylinder tank, custom stand and all, very sweet. The tank and stand have to be self-contained becuase of the placement of the tank and neatness desired. With the metal halides apparently the tank runs a couple degrees above opptimal, even with several fans sucking air into the stand and several more sucking out. Apparently a chiller will not fit in the stand so he ordered a custom stainless steel radiator from a company that manufactures desalination equipment. Tank water will flow through it while being hit with the intake/output air.
This sounded like an interesting idea to me and I was just wondering if anybody had ever had tried this and/or had some input...I should soon have the results of this to share with ya'll, thanks.

Cheers,

Sounds like a "cool" idea, I'm curious about the size and how much head pressure there would be on the pump. Let us know the details! TinMan
