I had planned on moving my small clown trigger from a 29 to my 90 gallon tank but I am looking at going ahead and upgrading to a 150. I am looking at a 48 X 24 X 30 or a 72 X 18 X 27. What say you to either of these tanks for a long term solution for a clown trigger?

Thanks.

Out of the 2 I would go with the 72" tank. Or IMO if your going to go with a 150, why not 180 72x24-27, should be around the same price as the 150 and its a little wider, so more swimming room.

I would also vote for a 72" tank.

That is what I figured. The 48 inch 150 gallon tank is significantly cheaper in the deals I am looking at. I will probably drop him in the 90 for 6 months or so and continue to look for a deal on a 72 inch tank.

Good plan. While saving money, do consider the 180, 24" wide tank is much nicer.

For a mature clown, a tank in the 8' range is more appropriate.
