View Full Version : how big do rics and yumas get

The reason i am asking is i have 2 rics . One is 4.5'' and the other is 6'' across, is this the maxium size.

That's about where they cap out at. It's rather rare that people allow them to get to that size. They'll either split or get fragged by the owner. I've only seen two other reefers locally that have managed to get them that large.

They are in a 12 gal nano dx. They are eating flake food that happens to get caught in their tentacles. I wish they would split.

I have a green florida that was about 8 inches across and is in the process of splitting. I also have a few yumas that are about 4-6 inches across.

Do you feed yours , i have thought about feeding mine. But if they get that big i may have to move them to a bigger tank.

i have a couple that are very big. one about 4.5 and htte other about 6. here are some pics

I have a Neon Green Yuma that is 5"-6" across when fully expanded, i believe its still growing.
