My Catalaphyllia jardinei has been looking a bit under the weather in the last few days--a bit small and shrivelled up. The only difference is I introduced a new Acan Lord about 2 weeks ago and placed it on the substrate about 3" from the Elegance. Could the Acan be bothering the Elegance at that distance?

IMO 3" is plenty of room, lords have small tentacles that literally are "you have be touching the coral" small. Although if there was a lord with a 3" sweeper I'd like to see it! :D

Highly unlikely to be the lord considering this may have been inevitable for your elegance as it is. How long you had the elegance? Why not just move the lord just in case?

I had some new acans that were about 1"-1"1/2 away from candy canes and needless to say they went to war, but are fine now and have recovered.

I've had the Elegance about 2 months....I have moved the Lord just in case......fingers crossed....
