I have had my coral Beauty in the tank since May 13th---he was bullied by my Kole Tang for a couple of days but then settled in very well and has been active and feeding. My LFS had kept him for me for several weeks before I introduced him to the tank. Tonight I got home to find he has developed several white fluffy looking patches on one side :eek2: . He is behaving normally and feeding fine. All tank parameters are fine and all other livestock is fine. Sorry the photos aren't very good but they give an idea of what he looks like.
What is it? and What should I do??? Would running the UV help at all? (I have one but don't run it continuously)
Thanks for any help you can give!

just from my personal experience, when I started with fish, I had terrible problems with ick all the time. lost all but one fish. the one never got ick. tried again, bought more fish.they showed fine. later got ick but cleared up. but my hippo had these same kind of spots on him. kinda hard to see ur pics really well. all i did was what ever food u feed them, soak it in garlic guard and zoe. in about 2 weeks, my hippo was cured and GORGEOUS! By the way, after my first real crash with ick, I got a uv sterelizer and wether it's a bad idea or not, I run it 24/7. not sure if that plays in a benefit or not but I've been disease free for about 5 months now! fish are great.
