I have used my phosban reactor for both Rowa, and charcoal seperately. Question is, can you use both at the same time? Would this work?

I think if you do a search you will come uo with a lot of info on this.
I am pretty sure the answer is yes

The problem is the tumbling will generate more ground up rowa. ALso they tend to be used up at different rates. At just $30 I would buy another reactor if you have the space and chain them together with one MJ1200 for a pump. Works like a champ

Yes, you absolutely can. But if you mix the media, you will need to change it every 4 weeks when the carbon is exhausted. Carbon is much cheaper than the Rowaphos, so you may not want to waste money changing the Rowa so often.

I am running Phosban in my reactor (loose) and then in a seperate filter bag I have carbon. This way I can remove the carbon after running for a week or two and the phosban remains in the reactor. So far it works well.
